FOB Test

The Willi Fox FOB rapid test is used for the detection of human hemoglobin in stool. The detection limit is 2 μg human hemoglobin/g faeces or 40ng/ml human hemoglobin in buffer.

Human-occult (invisible) blood in stool can indicate various pathologies in the lower gastrointestinal tract, such as gastric ulcers, polyps, colitis, diverticulitis, hemorrhoids, or colorectal carcinoma.

Early detection of human-occulated blood in the faeces makes it possible to diagnose and treat the above-mentioned diseases at an early stage.
